The presence and advantages of the Le Boulou waters have been documented since prior to the 9th century. From the 1800s onward, Le Boulou’s spa destination has gained renown for its exceptional water, abundant in magnesium and other minerals celebrated for their healing qualities. The town is famed for its signature “Eau du Boulou,” which was bottled until the early 2000s.
